We ask that you RSVP no later than Tuesday October 1st, 2024. However, the earlier, the better!

You will fly out of your local airport to Belize's only international airport, Philip S.W. Goldson International Airport (BZE) located in Belize City. From there, you can book a short 15-minute flight from Belize City to San Pedro. When you arrive, you can either arrange for a taxi to take you to your hotel or villa or coordinate with your golf cart rental company to meet you with your rental carts. Alternatively, if you don't want to book the local flight from Belize City to San Pedro, you can opt for a ferry ride, which takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, from Belize City to San Pedro. We ask that you arrive no later than Thursday, April 3rd, 2025, by 3:00 p.m. in Belize City. Arriving early will allow you time to get checked in and be at the Welcome Reception by 5:30. However we recommend flying in Wednesday 4/2/2025 and Departing 4/6/2025. Our Travel page offers accommodation options. Enjoy a few days to a week of paradise in San Pedro!

Under the "Travel Tab", you will see the Mahogany Bay Resort & Beach Club, Curio Collection by Hilton. This hotel is a short 13 minute walk to the Casa De Tortuga or 7 minute golf cart ride. There are also many other Airbnb and Resort options nearby. If you are booking an Airbnb or looking to stay at another resort, try to book accommodations within 15 min walking distance of Casa De Tortuga, San Pedro Belize.

In San Pedro, golf carts are the primary mode of transportation. Our travel page lists several rental companies you can choose from. However, many accommodations offer a complimentary golf cart when you book a room or villa. Be sure to check with your host before booking, as it might be included. Additionally, there are many reliable and efficient taxis available in San Pedro for your convenience. The Victoria House Resort & Spa is a 13-minute walk from Casa Tortuga or a 6-minute golf cart ride.

The weather is almost always 84 and sunny, and the dress is casual. In addition to your fun and comfortable clothing, here’s a list of things we recommend you bring: ● Sunscreen + aloe or sunburn cream ● Bug spray - we recommend Deep Woods Off or something similar ● Water shoes for children ● Prescription medication. You can buy basic OTC medication at any grocery store and pharmacy. ● Sun shades and fun day hats!

Belize dollars are two (2) to one (1) US dollar at a fixed rate. US dollars are universally accepted at the 2 to 1 rate. Major credit cards (Visa, Master Card) can be used for most expenses. You can also withdraw cash at one of many ATM's around the island.
